Experience that steadies even the most complex cases

Meet Dr. Daniel G. Miller, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Daniel G. Miller is a highly trained and accomplished general dentist with a passion for comprehensive, patient-centered care. Originally from Manassas, Virginia, Dr. Miller graduated with Honors from West Virginia University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine (SUNY Buffalo).

Following dental school, Dr. Miller completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at SUNY Buffalo, where he distinguished himself by setting the program record for the number of dental implants placed—demonstrating both technical excellence and an early commitment to advanced restorative care. He also completed formal training in Moderate Conscious IV Sedation through Augusta University, allowing him to provide a higher level of comfort and anxiety management for his patients.

Dr. Miller went on to own and operate a successful private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina, while continuing to expand his clinical expertise. He completed advanced restorative, cosmetic, and functional training at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, Washington, and earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD)—an achievement attained by fewer than 6% of general dentists nationwidethrough extensive continuing education and demonstrated clinical excellence.

Dr. Miller provides all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, as well as advanced procedures including full-mouth reconstruction, impacted wisdom tooth removal, and All-on-X dental implant rehabilitation. His approach emphasizes precision, long-term function, and personalized treatment planning tailored to each patient’s needs. After his marriage, Dr. Miller made the decision to sell his Charlotte practice and relocate to the coast to focus on building a family and establishing roots in the community. He and his wife were thrilled to welcome their daughter after the move, further reinforcing Dr. Miller’s commitment to creating a warm, family-focused dental environment.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Miller enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, SCUBA diving for megalodon teeth, backpacking through America’s National Parks, golfing, traveling, and photography. Many of the photographs displayed throughout the practice were taken by Dr. Miller during his travels and adventures in National Parks across the country—reflecting his appreciation for detail, craftsmanship, and natural beauty.

Dr. Miller brings the same dedication, precision, and enthusiasm from his personal pursuits into his dental practice, striving to provide care that is both technically exceptional and genuinely compassionate. For Dr. Miller, True Course Dentistry is more than just a dream realized, it’s a compass guiding patients toward lifelong oral wellness.
